![]() Total Fire Ball min damage = FireBallDamage * (1 + SynergyBonus/100) * (1 + FireMasteryBonus/100) Synergy bonus = (14 * (Fire Bolt.blvl+Meteor.blvl)).TLDR: Maxing synergy first is not the way, loads of numbers bellow as examples Popular guides advise, and math on paper confirms, that maxing fireball, bolt, and meteor with 1pt in mastery would be optimal given that the synergies provide a 14% damage boost per level while mastery only offers 7% Does anyone know if this tool is accurate or if there is indeed some unclear inner working between synergies and mastery that require a lot of fine tuning to get optimal damage? ![]() According to the tool theres some balancing point having fire mastery somewhere around 5lvls behind synergies (may vary with different +skills, currently at +11 fire skills). The odd thing is I've been plugging points in what I believe to be an accurate tool at but when I shift some of the points from firebolt and meteor to mastery my end fireball damage increases up until a certain point (same total points in fire tree). ![]() Popular guides advise, and math on paper confirms, that maxing fireball, bolt, and meteor with 1pt in mastery would be optimal given that the synergies provide a 14% damage boost per level while mastery only offers 7%. Im currently trying to optimize my fireball damage for a fireball/zorb build. I have recently been trying out all different Sorc builds after making a few tokens which lead me to a bit of a dilemma. I've been working my way through SP and really enjoying the change.
